Solar Access Systems installed
automated gates and wireless intercom system at our
property eighteen months ago. As well as being a
very practical solution to keeping our dogs secure
in our property (and other people out), they also

Solar Access Systems has
provided a unique gated entry system for Fort
Picklecombe Management Co. Our specification was
complex and all encompassing for maximum resident
flexibility. We have purchased two separate systems
from Solar Access. One is for a car park with both
simple coded push button access and a mobile phone
“dial to open” system. The second system is for our
main entry gates which are high usage and situated
in an exposed marine environment. These need to have
high reliability and multiple methods of entry. The
demands of our residents meant that the methods of
entry had to be flexible and controllable from
anywhere, not just within the property. We needed to
be able to communicate with and allow entry from
over one hundred flats each having up to three
different (possibly remote) telephone numbers. We
also required a push button coded entry system and
mobile phone entry as well as key fob access.
Solar Access Systems discussed
the options with us and came up with a solution
which covered all the items we required. This all
took place efficiently and in conjunction with, our
own staff. After consideration of other suppliers
for the actual gates themselves we also choose Solar
Access for these items as their pricing was again
competitive and the quality was excellent.
Deployment was very satisfactory with minimal
inconvenience to our residents and at a time which
suited ourselves. Fort Picklecombe is most impressed
with the solutions installed and the after sales
service which we have received.
